Who We Are

We're a people who centre everything we do around the good news of Jesus Christ. We wholeheartedly believe the bible is relevant in every area of our lives today. We also wholeheartedly believe in the Person and work of the Holy Spirit actively at work in our lives. 

We're a people who want to have love for everyone, and particularly for those on the fringes of society and this desire leads to action. We have a deep conviction that we must demonstrate our faith through compassionate action. We believe there is a gospel mandate to reach into challenging areas of society.

We're a people who prioritise building strong working relationships with community organisations, charities and other churches. As our name suggests, we want to work together with other organisations and churches wherever possible. We want to work with other churches in the Bay, recognising that we're only a small part of the body of Christ.

   We're a church that works hard to be united and are moving forward together. We believe in ‘togetherness’ wholeheartedly. We are a church on mission together. Doing Life Together. Loving one another. Unity within the Church was very important to Jesus, and therefore it’s very important to us!

We're a church that actively wants to build strong local congregations that are distinct, with a style that reflects the makeup of that area. Our mission is to see many lights in Torbay and to reach the lost where there isn't any light. We aim to be a multi-congregational community across Torbay.

We believe in the universal church and we want to see His Kingdom here on earth. We're part of Commission, a growing family of churches in the UK, Portugal, Spain, Serbia, South Asia, USA, Ghana, Philippines, Brazil and Middle East. We're actively invested in Commission in the hopes to see Jesus' universal church flourish.
