Pete Clayton - Lead Elder
Pete is married to Esther and they have 3 children. They moved as a family from Southampton at the beginning of 2019 and Pete leads the team here at Together Church. Pete has a passion for the word of God and combining that with a compassionate mission. He has a heart to see the churches of Torbay working together to reach the lost. He loves swimming in the sea, walking and playing football with his kids.
Steve Thieman - Elder
Steve has been part of the church since it started in 1998. Steve continues to be at the heart of the church now and leads and serves the church alongside Pete. He works in international banking, working mainly from home. He is married to Cathy and they have three children. When he gets a spare moment Steve loves to be outdoors - you will find him camping, fishing or strolling on a beach.

Greg and his family have been part of Together Church since 2019. He’s married to Becky and they have four children growing up fast.
He loves helping the church run well and seeing people find a real sense of belonging. When he’s not at church, he enjoys spending time with his family on Dartmoor or walking the coastline.

Stacey first came to the church in 2009 on an Alpha course — and that’s where she met Jesus! After a few years away, she and her husband Jon moved back in 2015, and they now have three wonderful children who keep life beautifully full and wonderfully loud.
Stacey loves music (even though she insists there isn’t a single musical bone in her body). She’s happiest when she’s laughing, being a little bit silly, and helping others find joy in the everyday moments.
She’s passionate about seeing children and young people discover who they are in God and grow in faith with confidence and authenticity.

Jess has been part of the church since 2009 and joined the team in 2025.
As a psychotherapist, play therapist and therapeutic social worker, Jess has worked extensively with children, young people and adults impacted by trauma and complex needs. Jess has a heart for the broken-hearted, and a passion to see Jesus at work bringing healing, freedom and restoration of joy in relationships.

Virginia is married to Chris and they have 3 amazing children. They have been part of the Together Church family since 2021 and have a joint heart to serve God and those around them - both in their church and their local community.
Virginia works part time for the church in an admin assistant role, alongside basketball coaching and referee officiating roles within the sport.
She enjoys keeping fit, running along our beautiful Torbay coastline, paddleboarding, and making the most of beach life in the summer with family!

Ori Anane-Howard - Operations Assistant
Ori joined Together Church in 2025, with her husband Lewis, after moving down from Somerset.
She is currently studying medicine at university where she'll soon graduate as a doctor.
Ori loves the circus - so much so, that she took a year out of her degree to train and perform in a tent!
She has a passion for creatively connecting with people both online and in person.
